Internship
The US Commercial Service Russia offers internship opportunities throughout the year. They usually follow a school calendar schedule with a Fall, Spring and Summer internship available. See the bottom of this page for deadline dates for the next internship opportunity.
What you would be doing:
The U.S. Commercial Service helps U.S. companies sell their products and services into the Russian market. We also encourage Russian firms to work with American companies either by representing American manufacturers and their products in this market, buying and utilizing American products, or by developing profitable joint venture arrangements. To support these objectives, the office analyses information on the Russian market, facilitates contacts with Russian businesses, promotes U.S. products in the Russian marketplace, and advocates for U.S. business interests.

In order to participate in this program you must meet the following qualifications:
Have U.S. or Russian citizenship
Students of Business, International Relations, Economics, and Languages will benefit most from an internship at the Commercial Service.
Compensation:
This internship is a volunteer service. Federal regulations prohibit financial compensation. We do not provide housing. An official letter of recommendation will be provided. Many Universities will award 3-6 credits for a completed internship. Please discuss with your academic advisor on your school’s policy.
Location:
Interns at the Moscow office will work at the U.S. Commercial Service office location at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
