Seminar Overview
The Milwaukee office of the U.S. Commercial Service is pleased to host export compliance officials from the Bureau of Industry and Security in Washington, D.C. for an event that will provide the export community with information on export controls and developing effective compliance programs.
Topics Include
- This seminar is designed to help you create or enhance your company’s Export Management Compliance Program (EMCP) that addresses your export compliance responsibilities.
- The program provides hands-on experience in creating and adapting an EMCP for your organization, solving illustrative compliance problems, as well as providing industry best practices and strategies for minimizing the risk of export violations.
- Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are approved for this program (7.5 hours).
- NOTE: This seminar is structured for exporters who are ready to utilize their knowledge of export regulations and this is not a regulatory seminar that strictly focuses on how to classify your product or how to determine whether or not your export requires a license. Participants should already have a working knowledge of U.S. export regulations. This seminar will NOT cover ITAR related topics.
About the Instructors
The instructors featured at this seminar are senior export compliance officials from the Bureau of Industry & Security in Washington, D.C. The instructors will be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions.
